On monday I made apple crisp!!! I think my family enjoyed it, although they'd never tried anything like it before. I'd wanted to make apple pie but was waay to lazy to make up all that dough, and I thought a crisp would be faster-it wasn't. I felt so anachronistic sitting at a table peeling and coring apples by hand for (what seemed like) an hour, but that's also why I love cooking.
So here's how it turned out:

Even though my tia said she preffered my "pan de platano," the entire 9x12 pan was emptied in 48 hours, so I think overall they approved.
